The Master of Social Work (MSW) – Online Advanced Standing program is a clinically focused, fully online graduate program designed for Florida residents who have earned a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from a CSWE-accredited institution within the past five years.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree earned within the last 5 years from a CSWE-accredited program
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA in the final 60 credits of the BSW program
  • Florida residency required
  • No GRE required
  • Three letters of recommendation (1 must be a recommendation from your practicum professor or coordinator)
  • Personal statement outlining goals, readiness, and alignment with the MSW program
  • Must apply for full-time study only
    • International degrees may be considered if recognized by CSWE's International Social Work Degree Recognition and Evaluation Service or covered under an approved memorandum of understanding.
