Doctor of Philosophy with Major in Computer Science
The PhD in Computer Science program (PhD CS) prepares students for academic careers in higher education, for careers as research scientists at high-tech companies and research labs, and senior positions in computer science related fields. Topics of study include software engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and cryptography, machine learning and data analytics, spatial database and data mining, computer networking, cloud computing, Internet of Things and more.

Program Details
The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in computer science, preparing them for careers in academia, research, and industry. The program offers three concentrations: General, Data Science and Analytics, and Cybersecurity. Each concentration has its own set of degree requirements, which include coursework, research, and dissertation. The program also offers a BS-PhD and MS-PhD track, allowing students to earn both a bachelor's and a doctoral degree or a master's and a doctoral degree in a shorter amount of time.
