Curriculum Description

This course is designed to satisfy the CFP Board's Financial Plan Development course requirement and to help the student to acquire the professional knowledge necessary to create and communicate effective financial plans to clients.

Ideal Candidate

This course is designed to be taken as the final required course in the Florida Atlantic University CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional Certification Program.

Florida Atlantic University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP certification marks. CFP certification is granted only by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements.
