Program Overview

The Master of Science Program in Finance concentrates on producing quality financial personnel with keen knowledge to tackle challenges in an ever-changing world. This includes the potential for self-development and readiness to learn about new financial innovations in order to enhance and expand the potential of the organization's goals as well as financial solutions. The graduates are also expected to be equipped with morals together with academic and professional ethics, including social accountability.

Start Date

• First Semester: June to October annually
  • Second Semester: November to March annually
  • Summer Session: April to May annually

Courses Offered in 3 Formats

• Type 1 Plan A, Type A1: Thesis 36 credits
• Type 2 Plan A, Type A2: Thesis 12 credits
• Type 3 Plan B: Independent Study 6 credits

Entry Requirements

Type 1: Research-Based, No Coursework (Plan A, Type A1: Thesis 36 Credits)

• Qualifications:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in other fields but have completed at minimum 15 credits in financial courses
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in other fields but have a minimum of 5-years of experience in the finance or accounting industry
  • Hold any financial licenses e.g. CFA (Certified Financial Analyst), CFP (Certified Financial Planner), and FRM (Financial Risk Manager)
• Other qualifications that don't fall into the either of the four categories above may still be considered by the MS Finance program committee
• Required Submission: A research proposal regarding the planned Master's Thesis topic, written in Thai or English, between 500 to 900 words, including research title, research objectives, background and significance of the research, and relevant literature reviews

Type 2: 9 Coursework Subjects + Thesis (Plan A, Type A1: Thesis 12 Credits)

• Hold a bachelor's degree from a higher education institution accredited by the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education
• Have a cumulative GPA of no fewer than 2.00
• Hold Thai nationality or others, capable of studying in the Thai Language Program

Type 3: 11 Coursework Subjects + Independent Study (Plan B: Independent Study 6 Credits)

• Hold a bachelor's degree from a higher education institution accredited by the Office of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education
• Have a cumulative GPA of no fewer than 2.00
• Hold Thai nationality or others, capable of studying in the Thai Language Program

Tuition and Fees

• 50,000 baht per semester
• 2 academic years for 200,000 baht
• After 2 academic years, if students have not graduated, the fees will be 10,000 baht per semester and 8,000 baht for summer session
