The course "Naga" as Material Culture in Architecture is designed to study the notion of "Naga" and its narratives regarding materiality, forms, context, and symbolic meanings in the field of Architecture and Urban Design.

Course Detail

As material culture, architecture, including its elements, sculptural ornaments, and physical form of a city, conveys ideas, beliefs, values, norms, and technological aspects of societies. This course focuses on "Naga" or "Nak," one of the prominent architectural elements commonly found in Buddhist temples in Thailand.
