Master’s degree in Pharmacology

Presentation

The master's program in pharmacology has an integrated bachelor's-master's bridge with the bachelor's in pharmacology and bachelor's in health biochemistry programs.


Training Objectives

  • Allow the student to deepen their knowledge of pharmacology and begin a specialization in a sector of this science;
  • Initiate research and develop technical skills specific to pharmacology;
  • Acquire a research method, through the development and implementation of a research project under the supervision of a research director;
  • Learn to analyze published work on subjects within your field of expertise;
  • Develop skills to effectively communicate your knowledge and the results of your work;
  • Develop a spirit of synthesis and a certain intellectual curiosity which will help them to adapt easily in a constantly evolving field;
  • Prepare, if necessary, to pursue postgraduate training.

Mandatory Educational Activities

General Condition(s)

Hold an undergraduate degree in one of the following disciplines or fields of study: biology, biochemistry, chemistry, medicine, pharmacology, or demonstrate preparation deemed satisfactory.


Special Condition(s)

Have a cumulative average of at least 2.7 in a system where the maximum mark is 4.3 or have obtained academic results considered equivalent.
