Governance of construction and infrastructure projects in the digital age: rethinking collaboration - Foundations of collaborative approaches
Program Overview
Program Overview
The University of Sherbrooke offers a program in Governance of Construction and Infrastructure Projects in the Digital Age, focusing on collaborative approaches. This program is part of a larger series of 9 modules, each of which can be taken independently.
Context
The construction industry is facing unprecedented challenges, including rising costs, labor shortages, increased ESG requirements, pressure on costs and schedules, and accelerated digital transformation. Traditional project management methods are reaching their limits, and collaborative approaches offer a structured, pragmatic, and proven response.

This introductory module allows decision-makers and professionals to understand in-depth why traditional project management methods are no longer sufficient and how collaborative approaches can provide a solution. The training equips participants with the tools to develop a common strategic understanding of projects, establish a shared language between disciplines, and lay the foundations for modern, collaborative, and performance-oriented governance.
Target Audience
This training is aimed at managers, engineers, or other professionals seeking to assume their responsibilities in managing change and collaborative approaches in complex construction and infrastructure projects.
