Program Details

Specialized graduate diploma in choral conducting (DESS)

The DESS in Choral Direction is a specialized graduate diploma program.

Admission Procedures

To be admitted to the program, applicants must follow these steps:

1. Submit an application: The deadline for application submission is March 1st.
   • Ensure that the general admission requirements for the University of Sherbrooke's graduate programs are met.
   • Specific requirements include having experience in choral direction and demonstrating excellent interpretive skills as well as the ability to communicate aesthetic and artistic elements.
2. Audition: An audition is required as part of the admission process.
   • The audition will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Longueuil Campus.
   • Details regarding the audition will be communicated by email by the program director.
