Course Details

The course covers advanced statistical analysis techniques.


  • Training target: Acquire the fundamental notions to understand and use rigorous analysis strategies.
  • Content: Linear regression, binary and multinomial regression, confirmatory factor analysis, latent class analysis, mixed model and latent trajectory classes.
  • Specific objectives:
    • Know the theory, postulates and key words associated with different statistical analyses.
    • Understand the statistical analyzes used in scientific articles and be able to take a critical look at them.
    • Perform various statistical analyzes using SPSS and Mplus software.
    • Adequately interpret the results from statistical analyses.
    • Develop a rigorous, honest and critical working method when processing and analyzing quantitative data.
