Program Overview
Doctorate in Biology
Research Areas
The research activities of our Department are fully in line with the current trend in contemporary biology in the fields of molecular and cellular biology, terrestrial ecology and microbiology-biotechnology. In addition, research projects related to bioinformatics are also underway in the department.
Pathways Offered in the Doctorate Program
The Department of Biology offers a doctorate in biology (Ph.D.) with a pathway:

- 2nd cycle degree in biochemistry, bioinformatics, biological sciences or the equivalent
According to this general admission condition, students from outside Canada must have completed the equivalent of a research-type graduate degree in Canada (M. Sc). For example, this training is equivalent to DEA training in the French education system or Master training in the European LMD system (License, Master, Doctorate).
