Program Overview


MaŅtrise Professionnelle

The MaŅtrise professionnelle offers a structured approach to reflection, criticism, and rigor in the context of professional practice. This training aims to support the development of transversal skills (collaboration, erudition, leadership, practice improvement, communication, etc.) to assume new roles and situate professional practice in its environment with confidence and reflectivity.


Objectives

The training aims to enable students to:


  1. Analyze their professional practice in rehabilitation based on scientific evidence, experiential knowledge, and practice context.
  2. Develop advanced skills in rehabilitation within an interprofessional collaboration framework to:
    1. Act with reflectivity and effectiveness in communications and interactions with users, teams, and partners.
    2. Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of rehabilitation programs.
    3. Analyze and integrate into practice principles specific to specific intervention areas (pain, mental health, cancer, pedagogy, etc.).
  3. Apply a systematic and rigorous approach to contribute to solving complex problems encountered in the rehabilitation practice environment.

Admission

Admissions to this program are suspended for the fall of 2026. Applicants are invited to submit an application for the LEAD-RS microprogram instead.
