Purpose
This qualification aims to develop students into community development leaders. It focuses on the facilitation of processes, techniques, and principles in the initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and sustainment of developmental projects and programmes. The approach is people-centred, asset-based, and participatory, addressing inequality, poverty, and injustice. Students will also learn to facilitate the establishment and management of community-based organisations within the context of community economic development.
