Introduction to the Adaptive Swim Program
The Adaptive Swim Program at Old Dominion University (ODU) is designed to provide children aged 4 to 12 who experience neurodevelopmental differences with the opportunity to learn basic water safety and swimming skills. This program pairs qualified swim instructors with these children, offering a supportive and adaptive learning environment.
Program Details
The Adaptive Swim Program is hosted at the ODU Student Recreation and Well-Being Center. Key benefits of the program include:
