The Nursing RN to BSN degree online is designed for licensed RNs who want to advance their careers and take the next step with purpose and flexibility. This accredited online program is taught by full-time ODU nursing faculty, most of whom also practice as nurses in local hospitals.

Required Courses

  • Minimum 120 Total Credit Hours
  • To earn a bachelor's degree from ODU, students must complete at least 30 credit hours with the university.
  • The total number of credits taken from ODU depends on the credits that can be transferred and whether the student takes advantage of the concurrent enrollment option.
  • When a student graduates from an AAS or ADN program and passes the NCLEX RN exam, ODU will award 33 transfer credits at no cost to the student.
