Real Estate (BSBA) Military Pathway
The Real Estate (BSBA) Military Pathway is a degree program designed for military students. This program outlines degree requirements that may be satisfied by military training and experience or exams, as well as requirements that must be satisfied through courses taken at Old Dominion University.
Military Pathway Information
This military pathway provides an opportunity for military students to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Real Estate. The program allows students to apply their military experience and training towards their degree, reducing the number of credits needed to complete the program.
Requirements Potentially Met Outside the Classroom
The following requirements may be met outside the classroom through military training and experience or exams:
- CLEP College Composition: ENGL 110C English Composition (3 credits)
- DSST Technical Writing: ENGL 231C Writing, Rhetoric, and Research: Special Topics (3 credits)
- Instructor, career counselor, recruiter, select specialties: COMM 101R Public Speaking (3 credits)
- CLEP Precalculus and Calculus: MATH 162M Precalculus I and MATH 200 Calculus for Business and Economics (6 credits)
- CLEP Foreign Languages or military linguist or DLIFLC grad: Language and Culture requirement (6 credits)
- Current or previous E6-E9: STEM 251G Computer Literacy: Communication and Information (3 credits)
- CLEP Any one of eight Social Science exams except Ed Psych: Human Behavior requirement (met in major)
- CLEP Any History exam: Interpreting the Past requirement (3 credits)
- CLEP American or Analyzing & Interpreting Literature: Literature requirement (3 credits)
- CLEP Biology: Nature of Science requirement (8 credits)
- Subtotal: 38 credits

Requirements Met at ODU
A minimum of 30 credits must be taken at Old Dominion University, and 120 credits must be gained in total to earn this degree.
