Introduction to BSc (Hons) Ocean Sciences with Foundation Year

Progression Routes

Upon successful completion of the foundation year, students will progress onto Year 1 of one of the following three undergraduate degrees:

• BSc (Hons) Ocean Science
• BSc (Hons) Ocean Exploration and Surveying
• BSc (Hons) Ocean Science and Marine Conservation

Experience

The course provides students with extensive experience in preparing, deploying, and maintaining state-of-the-art oceanographic instruments. Students will also participate in field trips to coastal and offshore locations, gaining hands-on experience in real-world environments.
