MPhysio (Hons) Physiotherapy

The MPhysio (Hons) Physiotherapy course is an integrated master's degree that combines undergraduate and postgraduate study in a single course. This four-year program provides students with the scientific foundation, clinical skills, and hands-on experience to support recovery and independence.

The course is designed to develop students' clinical, leadership, management, and research skills, promoting future progression in their physiotherapy career. Year 1

In the first year, students will learn about anatomy and physiology, health promotion, and exercise. They will also develop their understanding of applied movement science and evidence-based physiotherapy practice. Core modules include:

Entry Requirements

  • Typical offer: 136 UCAS points
  • GCSE: Strong GCSE profile, normally at least 5 GCSEs grade B/5 or above to include Mathematics, English, and Science
  • A levels: AAB, which must include Biology, Human Biology, or PE from 3 A Levels
  • BTEC National Extended Diplomas and Extended Diplomas: Considered on an individual basis
  • Access courses: Pass Access with 45 credits at level 3, 36 at Distinction, and to include 15 level 3 credits in Biology

English Language Requirements

To be accepted onto the course, students must have a suitable English language qualification, such as IELTS 7.0 overall with 6.5 in all elements.
