Entry Requirements

Applicants must achieve 6 GCSE passes (grade C/grade 4 or higher), including English Language, Mathematics, and two Science subjects. Suitable Level 3 qualifications, such as A levels, BTEC RQF National Extended Diploma, or Access to HE Diploma, are also required.

Selection and Admissions Process

The Admissions Advisory Panel considers various factors, including academic qualifications, when selecting applicants for interview. The interview process uses Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI), and candidates are ranked based on their score.

International Students

The University of Plymouth welcomes international applicants and offers support and guidance throughout the application process. International students must demonstrate proficiency in the English language, achieving one of the following qualifications: IELTS band 7.5 or above, IB score of 6 at the ordinary level in English Language, or GCSE English Language grade A/7.
