Introduction to BA (Hons) Geography with International Relations

The BA (Hons) Geography with International Relations course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of human geography and international relations. This course combines the study of geographical principles with the analysis of international political and economic issues, enabling students to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge.

Placement Year

The optional placement year provides students with the opportunity to gain work experience and apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. Placements can take place in the UK or overseas and are available in a range of sectors, including environmental consultancy, flood risk, environmental planning, and geospatial science.

Fieldwork

The course includes a range of fieldwork opportunities, both in the UK and overseas. These trips provide students with hands-on experience of geographical research methods and the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a practical setting.
