• CORF2013: Small Ships Business - An introduction to the day-to-day operation of vessels, including maritime law and environmental concerns.
• CORF2014: Ocean Passage Planning and Global Weather Systems - This module equips students with the theoretical skills necessary to plan, navigate, and manage sailing a yacht across the world's oceans.
• CORF2015: Yacht Purpose and Design - This module introduces the principles of design theory and methods, given the purpose of the vessel.
• CORF2016: Research Project - This module enables students to acquire research skills and plan and implement a pilot study into a research topic of personal interest.
• CORF2017: Leadership and Management - This module enables students to gain an appreciation of management and leadership theories that apply directly to the current working practices in yachts.

Tuition Fee Price Changes

In November 2024, the UK Government announced an increase to tuition fees and maintenance support for the 2025/26 academic year. The University's tuition fees were increased to Ł9,535 per year. The UK Government has indicated that further fee increases may be announced, and the University may increase annual tuition fees in subsequent years.
