Introduction to FdSc Marine Engineering

- Naval Architecture (CITY1093): Introduces the theory of ship stability and the interaction between a vessel, its cargo, and counteracting effects.
- Management Techniques in Marine Engineering (CITY1094): Appraises main techniques that improve organizations' operations.
Final Year Core Modules
- Engineering Science 2 (CITY2092): Enhances knowledge acquired in engineering science, looking at more in-depth methods of analysis.
- Advanced CAD & FEA (CITY2093): Develops 3D modeling techniques, surface and solid modeling, and analyzes stresses and strains on structures using FEA.
- Engineering Design (CITY2094): Gives students an opportunity to experience the design process from conception to implementation.
