Year 3
- Child Progress and Development: This module focuses on child development within an educational setting, exploring theory and observation in practice and the implications for professional practice.
- Inclusive Practice within Teaching and Learning: This module deepens students' understanding of children with special needs and how to support them, critically reflecting on specific skills and techniques within professional practice.
- Curriculum: English and Mathematics: This module promotes students' competence and confidence in mathematics and identifies linguistic and literacy concepts and skills within the EYFS and National Curriculum.
Final Year
- Educational Research: This module provides students with the opportunity to engage in educational research, formulating a small-scale qualitative research project and considering ethical issues.
- Curriculum: Science and Technology: This module focuses on the scientific and computing components within the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum.
- Creative Education: This module explores creative education within a specific age phase, examining the place of creative education curriculum areas within the school curriculum and their role in developing key transferable skills.
