  • Tuition fees at Nagasaki University: 14,800 yen per credit (approximately 730 CNY), with a minimum of 7 credits per semester

Application Conditions

  1. Eligible students: Full-time students majoring in Japanese language at our university
  2. Language proficiency: Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 or above, or equivalent scores in J-CAT or J-TEST
  3. Physical and mental health: Students must be physically and mentally healthy, with strong independent living, learning, and environmental adaptability
  4. Disciplinary record: Students must have a good disciplinary record, obey laws and regulations, and maintain the national image and university reputation

Important Notes

  • Students without JLPT N3 scores can take the J-CAT or J-TEST exams
  • J-CAT exam scores or J-TEST scores must be submitted electronically by April 1st
  • Students must apply for the J-CAT exam in advance, as it takes time to issue the exam link and password

Selection Method and Schedule

  1. Student application: Students submit their applications and materials by March 15th, 2024
  2. University review: The International Affairs Office reviews student materials and sends the recommended list to Nagasaki University by March 20th, 2024
  3. Online application: The International Affairs Office assists recommended students in completing the online application at Nagasaki University by April 1st, 2024

Additional Information

  1. Credit transfer: Students must confirm with their college or university's academic department whether the credits earned at Nagasaki University can be transferred and recognized
  2. Scholarship application: Students can apply for the "Outstanding Student Overseas Study Fund" at our university, with the amount of funding determined by the university's fund evaluation committee
  3. Program adjustments: The university may adjust or cancel the program due to unforeseen circumstances such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and students must follow the arrangements made by the organizing party.
