Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Describe core concepts in individual differences and performance, including personality, motivation, emotion, and capacity.
2. Describe the theoretical and empirical bases underpinning the construction, implementation, and interpretation of some of the most widely used personality instruments.
3. Apply knowledge and skills of psychology in a manner that is reflexive, demonstrating insight, critical thinking, and self-reflection.
4. Explain psychological phenomena relevant to performance using the concepts, language, and major theories of the discipline, and critique theory and research in the discipline of psychology, communicating these in written formats.
5. Use and represent information in an ethical manner.
6. Engage in self-directed pursuit of scholarly inquiry.
