Learning Outcomes

  1. Apply the fundamental principles of bioinformatics, including concepts and theories established in the field of bioinformatics to the field of infectious diseases.
  2. Justify and interpret theoretical propositions, methodologies, conclusions, and professional decisions in the field of microbial bioinformatics to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in solving real-world biological questions and problems by use of bioinformatics tools.
  4. Foster effective teamwork and collaborations to manipulate and analyse large bioinformatic datasets.
