Unmanned Aircraft Operations O.E.C.
The Unmanned Aircraft Operations Occupational Endorsement Certificate (O.E.C.) is a program designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become highly competitive candidates for job openings and promotions in flying, repairing, and maintaining unmanned aircraft and related ground stations.
Program Requirements
The minimum requirements for the Unmanned Aircraft Operations O.E.C. are 17 credits. Students must earn a C- or better in each course.
- General University Requirements: Complete the general university requirements.
- Occupational Endorsement Requirements: Complete the occupational endorsement requirements.
- Unmanned Aircraft Operations Program Requirements:
- CITS F203: Information Technology Support Fundamentals (4 credits)
- DSGN F130: Modeling, Assembly & 3D Animation: Autodesk Inventor (3 credits)
- UAVT F100: Aerospace Composite Fabrication and Repair (3 credits)
- UAVT F107: Basic Drone Pilot (3 credits)
- UAVT F150: Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance and Operation - Theory (3 credits)
- UAVT F155: Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance and Operation - Lab (1 credit)
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, students must:
- Be at least 16 years old by the first day of the semester in which they are admitted.

Learning Outcomes
Graduates of this program will be able to:
- Possess the skills and knowledge to become highly competitive candidates for job openings and promotions in flying, repairing, and maintaining unmanned aircraft and related ground stations.
- Possess the skills and knowledge expected of professionals in the aviation industry.
Upon completion of the Unmanned Aircraft Operations O.E.C., students are prepared to sit for the Remote Pilot certification through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
