The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (CFOS) offers several graduate programs, including two non-thesis professional master's degrees:


  • Master of Marine Studies (M.M.S.)
  • Master of Marine Policy (M.M.P.)

  • The Master of Marine Studies (M.M.S.) and Master of Marine Policy (M.M.P.) degrees are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of marine sciences and policy.
  • The Blue MBA concentration, which is offered by the UAF College of Business and Security Management, combines a Master of Business Administration degree with CFOS courses in fisheries science, marine biology, and oceanography.
