Program Overview


General Education Mobile (GEM) Program

The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) has partnered with the Community College of the Air Force's (CCAF) GEM program. This program allows Airmen and Guardians to access general education courses in an online setting to fulfill the CCAF Associate in Applied Science (AAS) general education requirements. The flexibility of an online classroom enables students to learn on their own time from anywhere in the world.


About the GEM Program

The GEM program is designed to provide Airmen and Guardians with the opportunity to complete their general education requirements in a flexible and convenient online format. The program is tailored to meet the needs of military personnel and their families, allowing them to balance their academic pursuits with their military service.
