Building Science Graduate Program
The Building Science Graduate Program offers a comprehensive education in the field of building science, with a focus on research and academic development. PhD Program
The PhD program in Building Science is designed to train future academics and researchers in the field. The program requires students to take a total of 9 courses, including 3 compulsory courses and 6 elective courses approved by the Building Science Program. The compulsory courses are:
- ARCH615: Architectural Research I (6 METU credits, 14 ECTS credits)
- BS600: PhD Thesis in Building Science (0 METU credits, 130 ECTS credits)
- BS601: Seminar in Building Science (0 METU credits, 10 ECTS credits)
A minimum of 24 METU credits must be taken by students in the program. The program is designed to establish a research frame of mind, while also allowing students to develop their specific areas of interest through elective courses.
