Program Overview


Human Computer Interaction Research and Application Laboratory

The METU Computer Center, Human Computer Interaction Research and Application Laboratory, has been conducting activities to support tests for developing user-friendly interfaces for information systems since 2006, under the academic advising of Prof. Kürşat Çağıltay.


Laboratory Accreditation

The laboratory is the first and only accredited laboratory of the Turkish Standards Institute-TSE within the scope of the "TS EN ISO/IEC Ergonomics of Human-System Interaction - Part 151: Guidance on World Wide Web User Interfaces" standard, in accordance with the "ISO/IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories" standard of TSE.


Standard Description

TS EN ISO / IEC "Ergonomics of Human-System Interaction - Part 151: Guidance on World Wide Web User Interfaces" is a standard document that guides the development of easy-to-use interfaces for information systems.
