Introduction to the SESAMI Program
The Graduate School of Business Administration at Kobe University, established in 1902 as the former Kobe Higher Commercial School, has a long-standing tradition of excellence in business administration. With over 600 doctoral degree holders as of March 2019, the school has solidified its position as a key institution for business administration in Japan. In 2013, the school launched the SESAMI (Strategic Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Alliance Management Initiatives) program, a new M.A./Ph.D. course. This program serves as the foundation for the Global Master's Program (GMAPs), which was established in 2015 to cultivate global business leaders.
