Program Description

The course deals with church–state relations and the state's religious policy in the Soviet Union, Ukraine, Russia, and other Eastern European countries from 1917 to 2023, with particular emphasis on the post-Soviet period. Each year, possible lectures examine a variety of changing topics regarding religion and politics in and about Ukraine.
