Career Planning - Self-Study Course

Course Description

The Career Planning - Self-Study Course is an online course that focuses on career planning and readiness. The course covers themes such as self-knowledge, competence identity, career opportunities, and decision-making.

Course Content

The course touches upon the following themes:

• Career planning and career readiness
• Self-knowledge and competence identity
• Career opportunities and competence requirements for working life
• Strengths in change and transitions
• Decision-making and career planning
• Assessment of their learning, and course feedback

Learning Outcomes

After completing the course, students understand the significance of career planning in their lives and are able to assess their career readiness. Students obtain tools for identifying their values, competences, development needs, and motivations and understand the impact they have on their career choices.

Modes of Study

Students acquaint themselves with the material in the learning environment and complete the required assignments. Interaction with other students in the learning environment is essential to the way of learning in this course. To pass the course (PASS/FAIL), students must complete the tasks in the learning environment successfully.

Schedule

The online course learning environment is open from September 15 to November 24, 2025. Students can complete the assignments at their own pace during that time.
