Course Description
The course covers the principles and basics of value-added tax (VAT) and other consumption taxes.
Objectives
Upon completion of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of VAT and other consumption taxes.
Study Methods
The course includes lectures (12 hours, optional) and independent study of the literature, regulations, and materials provided during the lectures. The exam questions will be available on the Moodle/eLearn platform at the time of the exam. Answers must be submitted to Niko Svensk via email within two hours of the exam start time.
Recommended Studies
It is recommended to complete the "Vero-oikeuden perusteet" (Basics of Tax Law) course before taking this course.
