Program Overview


Multidisciplinary Logging and Legalization

Course Description

This course is part of the Multidisciplinary management of social and health services (25-30 ECTS) study module. It replaces the previous course Multidisciplinary accounting and legislation (1 ECTS).


Content

The course covers the following topics:


  • Registration in social and health care
  • Legislation governing the recording of social and health care
  • Basics of social and health care registration
  • What representatives of different health and social care professions need to know about recording each other's clients/patients

Learning Objectives

After completing the course, the student will be able to:


  • Explain the purpose of documentation in Multidisciplinary client/patient care
  • Describe the benefits and challenges of client/patient data production and use
  • Identify the legal requirements for documentation in social and healthcare services

Target Group

The course is intended for individuals working with patient and client information systems, those interested in social and healthcare data management, documentation, and development.


Study Arrangements

The course is conducted online through the DigiCampus-Moodle learning environment. The course includes video lectures, reading materials, and a multiple-choice exam.
