The University of Eastern Finland offers a variety of programs for students. One such program is the KH Religious History in Finland course.


Course Description

The course outlines the religious landscape of Finland beyond Christianity, discussing different non-Christian religions, new spiritualities, and non-religion. The focus is on late-twentieth century and contemporary society. The course examines the history of Christianity in Finland from the Middle Ages to the present day, as well as the history of religious diversity and non-religiousness.

Registration and Admission

Registration for individual courses is 20 per ECTS credit. The fee for this course is 100 (VAT 0%). Registration for courses starting in the autumn semester begins on 8 August 2025 at 9:00 AM and remains open until 16 June 2026. The right to study is valid until 30 July 2026.
