The Foster Innovation Exchange (FIX) at Arrowhead Center connects academia, industry, government, and community partners to support entrepreneurship in the Borderplex, offering business acceleration, prototyping, and international trade assistance.

The program serves entrepreneurs, startups, and businesses across the Borderplex region, including international partners in Mexico, with resources for business growth, expansion, and U.S. market entry.
Program Details
The Foster Innovation Exchange (FIX) brings together academia, industry, government, and community sectors to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the Borderplex. The program offers proven business acceleration programming, prototyping assistance, cloud credits, website building and launching assistance, and international trade. FIX plays a vital role in "soft landing" services for regional and international businesses seeking to expand or relocate into the U.S. markets.
PATHWAYS
The program includes the following pathways:
- Prototyping Lab: Build a strong foundation in entrepreneurship by learning how ecosystems work and how to navigate early stages of the journey--from curiosity to ideation.
- Website Workshop: Take your idea further by learning how to design, test, and pitch a sustainable business model that's ready for real-world demand.
- USMCA Summit: Apply your skills through internship opportunities with startups, gaining hands-on experience in turning new technologies into market-ready solutions.
- Regional Collaboration: Pitch your business to a panel of investors, leaders, and faculty for a chance to secure funding, gain valuable feedback, and grow your network of support.
