The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Building Construction Technology is designed to prepare students for opportunities within the growing construction industry. This degree provides significant hands-on instruction and student participation, covering essential topics such as basic construction safety, technical math skills, blueprint reading, use of hand and power tools, wood building materials, concrete work, masonry construction, and basic plumbing skills.

The degree follows nationally recognized National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) accreditation and certification standards. Students have the flexibility to enroll on a full-time or part-time basis, with some courses offered in the evening to accommodate work schedules.
