Program Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse - Certificate of Completion
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Certificate of Completion program is designed for individuals who wish to begin working as licensed practical nurses before completing the Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADN). This certificate program consists of the first two semesters of the ADN program and an additional course, NURS 224 Maternal Child Nursing.
Program Requirements
To qualify for the LPN certificate, students must pass a PN exit exam selected by the faculty. The program requires a total of 55 credits, including general education requirements and elective credits. Students must earn a final grade of C+ or better in all required courses and achieve a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.0.
