Program Overview

The Civil/Survey Technology program is an Associate of Applied Science degree in civil engineering, focusing on drafting, surveying fundamentals, roadway construction drafting, land development drafting, and GIS training.

Program Requirements

While pursuing this program, students will be required to perform the same job duties and meet the same physical requirements as they will as graduates in the field. This includes:

• Working at a computer for an extended period
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds

Courses and careers in Drafting and Design Technologies will require individuals to:
