Program Overview

The university program EDLT 3110, Integrating Technology with Teaching, is a 3-credit course that explores the impact of technology on communication and knowledge development. This course engages students in designing technology-integrated lessons with a constructivist approach and may be repeated up to 3 credits.

Learning Outcomes

Students enrolled in this program will demonstrate the following learning outcomes:

• A sound understanding of technology operations and concepts.
• The ability to plan and design effective learning environments and experiences supported by technology.
• The implementation of curriculum plans that include methods and strategies for applying technology to maximize learning.
• The application of technology to facilitate a variety of effective assessment and evaluation strategies.
• The use of technology to enhance their productivity and professional practice.
• A better understanding of the social, ethical, legal, and human issues surrounding the use of technology in PreK-Twelve schools, and the ability to apply that knowledge into future practice.
