Program Overview
Introduction to the Prymusi AGH 2.0 Program
The Prymusi AGH 2.0 program is a university initiative designed for outstanding students. The program's regulations, as stated in the rector's ordinance No. 35/2023, dated July 6, 2023, outline the benefits and requirements for participation.
Benefits of the Program
- Additional non-fee-based forms of education and development (courses, training, tutoring)
- Free accommodation in a student dormitory (upon meeting the conditions for receiving a place in the dormitory)
- Benefits are awarded to candidates depending on the group they are qualified for:
- First group: Students who are among the top 5% on the ranking list of candidates and have a recruitment index of at least 950 points, or those who were admitted as laureates or finalists of central-level olympiads.
- Second group: Students who have a recruitment index of at least 950 points but do not qualify for the first group.
Tutoring Program
The tutoring program is available to candidates with the highest recruitment index on the ranking lists created for each field of study. The goal of the tutoring is to deepen knowledge and/or skills in a chosen scientific discipline. Tutoring usually focuses on one selected problem or issue that the student explores under the supervision of a specialist in that field.
How the Tutoring Program Works
- Individual Approach: Each student participating in the program chooses a personal tutor from the AGH faculty. Together, they set goals and the direction of work for the semester.
- Thematic Flexibility: The tutoring topics cover specific scientific issues chosen by the student. The program may or may not relate to the field of study.
- No Grades: Tutoring sessions are not graded and do not count towards the ECTS point balance. Information about completed tutoring may be included in the diploma supplement, and participants receive a certificate confirming their participation.
Benefits of Tutoring
- Development of Critical Thinking: Scientific tutoring helps students develop analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Intergenerational Relationships: The program enables building relationships between students and experienced educators, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
