• Program Name: Medycyna Przyszoci: Projektowanie Narzdzi AI do Zastosowa Medycznych
• Program Description: The goal of the training is to familiarize machine learning engineers with the most important principles of working with medical data sets. During the course, typical metrics will be discussed and ways to deal with the problem of small data sets, artifacts on images, and unbalanced classes will be presented.
• Program Content:
  • Evaluation of the quality of medical images
  • Typical metrics for classification, detection, and segmentation
  • Morphological methods of image processing
  • Removal of artifacts from images
  • Image classification using convolutional neural networks
  • Segmentation using growth and superpixel methods
  • Segmentation of images using UNET networks
• Teaching Method:
  • Classes are conducted in groups of 8-12 people
  • Mode of classes: stationary or remote
  • Duration of the training: 16 hours
• Schedule:
  • Planned start date of the first cycle of classes: 17.10.2024
  • Planned end date of the last cycle of classes: 30.09.2025
