Transformacja Energetyczna Jednostek Samorzdu Terytorialnego
The Transformacja Energetyczna Jednostek Samorzdu Terytorialnego program is designed to prepare workers in local government units and individuals who wish to cooperate with local government units to plan and implement effective energy transformation at the local level.
Program Description
The program aims to equip participants with knowledge in the field of climate and energy policy, law, finance, and renewable energy technologies and intelligent energy management systems. Special emphasis will be placed on the ability to create transformation strategies, analyze investment effectiveness, and acquire external financing sources.
Program Structure
The program consists of two main areas of study:
- The first area focuses on subjects related to energy transformation strategies in local government units and the competencies necessary for planning and implementing energy projects.
- The second area covers subjects related to technologies supporting local energy transformation, with a strong emphasis on their economic viability, investment effectiveness, and implementation aspects.
Curriculum
The curriculum includes topics such as:
- Conditions of climate and energy policy at the EU and national level
- Planning local energy transformation strategies
- Evaluating the energy potential of local government units using the LEMES approach
- Energy law, spatial planning, and creating energy communities
- Social communication and resident participation in transformation processes
- Business models and financing investments using national and European programs
- Sustainable management of investment projects, including risk management and compliance with environmental goals
Graduate Profile
Graduates of the Transformacja Energetyczna Jednostek Samorzdu Terytorialnego program possess interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of local energy and climate policy, renewable energy technologies, project management, and energy investment financing. They are able to analyze the energy potential of local government units, develop transformation strategies, and evaluate the viability and effectiveness of proposed solutions.

- Admission Criteria: Admission is based on the order of applications and payments.
- Number of Places: Maximum 30 participants, minimum 15 participants
- Tuition Fees: 7,000 z (3,500 z per semester)

- Initial Requirements: Candidates must have a higher education diploma (master's, bachelor's, or engineer's degree).

- Copy of the higher education diploma (certified by the university "for compliance with the original")
- Statement of familiarity with the Regulations of postgraduate studies at AGH
- Proof of payment for the first semester of studies
