The postgraduate program in Environmental Protection against Noise and Vibration is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of acoustics and vibration, as well as the methods for measuring and assessing their impact on human health and the environment.

- Materials and systems with acoustic properties, and their applications in noise reduction

Program Structure
The program is divided into two semesters, with the following courses:
Semester 1:
- Fundamentals of acoustics
- Fundamentals of vibration and vibroisolation theory
- Vibroacoustic hazards
- The impact of vibration and noise on human health
- Methods for measuring vibration and noise
- Calibration of measurement transducers
- Quality management, accreditation, and certification
- Acoustic materials and systems
- Regulations in Poland and the EU
- Standards and norms
Semester 2:
- Methods for processing and analyzing vibroacoustic signals
- Environmental monitoring systems
- Acoustic maps
- Acoustic protection in the environment
- Vibroacoustic diagnostics
- Operation of civil engineering structures
- Reports and documentation in the context of environmental protection law
- The art of negotiation and communication
- Diploma thesis
Graduate Profile
Graduates of the program will have a basic understanding of acoustics and vibration, as well as the associated hazards. They will be able to understand the impact of vibration and noise on human health and the environment, and will have the knowledge and skills to measure and assess vibration and noise. Graduates will also be familiar with methods for reducing vibration and noise, and will have a knowledge of the relevant regulations and standards.

- Duration: 2 semesters (November 2025 - November 2026)
- Admission Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree diploma
- Admission Criteria: The decision to admit a student is based on the order of applications received
- Tuition Fee: 9,600 PLN (4,800 PLN per semester)
- Number of Places: Limited to 30 students, with a minimum of 14 students required
