Introduction to the Program
The postgraduate studies in Modern Computer Graphics for Non-IT Specialists aim to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of computer graphics, focusing on practical skills in graphic design and development, with a particular emphasis on 3D graphics.
Program Characteristics
The program is designed to educate participants from the ground up in broadly understood computer graphics, with an emphasis on practical skills in creating graphics and a special focus on 3D graphics. It introduces participants to 3D and 2D graphics issues, game programming based on modern game engines, and the creation of websites. Additionally, participants learn the basics of programming, OpenGL, and are introduced to the broadly understood topic of extended reality. Professional software systems, such as Maya, Catia 5, CorelDraw, and professional equipment like 3D scanners and MS HoloLens, are used in the program.
Program Structure
The program is based on a modern and advanced Computer Graphics Laboratory at AGH and a specialized academic staff who enhance their qualifications through years of teaching computer graphics and intelligent systems. The program is realized at two levels of advancement: Modern Computer Graphics for Non-IT Specialists (basic level) for graduates of any field of study, and Advanced Computer Graphics (advanced level), which can be attended by individuals with an IT education or those who have previously completed the Modern Computer Graphics for Non-IT Specialists postgraduate studies.
Program Details
- Duration: 2 semesters
- Admission Criteria: Completion of undergraduate, engineering, or master's studies.
- Limit of Admissions: Minimum 22, maximum 36 participants.

The objective of the program is to provide participants with knowledge about computer graphics, its various forms, tools, and methods, and to equip them with practical skills in creating different types of graphics. This enables graduates to work in the field of computer graphics.
