Characteristic of Studies

The program's lectures are primarily conducted by employees of the Faculty of Geodesy and Environmental Engineering, who are specialists in fields such as construction, cost estimation, mathematics, statistics, real estate management, and valuation methods. Additionally, experts from outside the university, including other universities, government officials, entrepreneurs, and property appraisers, contribute to the program. Approximately 10% of all classes are practical seminars and workshops, conducted in smaller groups, focusing on practical examples of valuation and the preparation of a valuation report. The second semester concludes with a theoretical knowledge exam, similar in format to a state exam, consisting of 90 test questions and one practical task. Practical knowledge verification occurs through the assessment of a written control work in the form of a valuation report.

The studies prepare students (after completing professional practice under a licensed valuer) for the state exam in property valuation.
