Program Overview

The Academy of Mining and Metallurgy, named after Stanislaw Staszic in Krakow, announces the launch of the PROM program. This program is designed for students, doctoral students, and employees of the Academy, as well as participants from partner universities.


Program Objectives

The primary objective of the PROM program is to support international academic mobility and develop scientific, teaching, and professional competencies through short-term foreign trips.


Program Activities

Within the framework of the program, participants can engage in various activities, including:


  • Active participation in international conferences, including presenting a paper or participating in a poster session,
  • Gathering materials for a doctoral thesis or scientific article,
  • Participation in summer and winter schools,
  • Conducting measurements using unique research equipment, testing scientific equipment or unique artistic instruments,
  • Participation in short forms of education, such as:
    • Courses (including intensive courses that are part of the education process),
    • Workshops,
    • Professional or industrial internships,
    • Study visits, also implemented at companies,
  • Teaching classes at a foreign university,
  • Participation in preparing an international grant application.
