Introduction to Hohai University

Hohai University, founded in 1915, is a state key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China. It is a comprehensive university with research and study of water resources as its main focus, education of engineering subjects as its first priority, and coordinated development of a wide array of disciplines. The University is located in the Yangtze River Delta region and has Xikang Road Campus, Jiangning Campus, and Changzhou Campus in Nanjing City and Changzhou City.

About the 2026 Hohai University International Summer Program

The 2026 Hohai University International Summer Program focuses on Water Disaster Prevention and Mitigation under Climate Change. The two-week program invites world-class scholars to analyze challenges posed by water disasters resulting from extreme climate variations and China's approach to tackling those challenges.

Program Details

• Duration and Venue: June 28 to July 11, 2026, in Nanjing and nearby cities.
• Qualified Applicants:
  • Non-Chinese citizens, aged 18 to 35.
  • Studying in a university as an undergraduate or a postgraduate.
  • With knowledge in related fields or showing interest in related fields.
• Program Fees: Hohai University will cover the program fees, local lodging in Nanjing, and International Student Medical Insurance in China for admitted international students. Top-notch students will be offered an international airfare subsidy.
