Graduate Programmes
The Department of Urban and Regional Planning offers two master and one Ph.D. programmes within the administration of ITU Graduate School of Science Engineering and Technology. These programmes include:
- Urban Planning Master Programme
- Regional Planning Master Programme
- Urban and Regional Planning PhD Programme
Programme Overview
The graduate programmes aim to develop human resources on a knowledge-base method that will reflect the increasing importance of Urban and Regional Planning and enable those developments in practice. The programmes' vision is to train graduate students with a multi-disciplinary perspective improved by analytical approaches in all scales while providing a respectful and unique stature among other disciplines.

Research and Expertise
The rich diversity in the research interests of the academic staff allows graduate students to study and research on diverse and up-to-date subjects. The programmes provide expertise in specific topics and hot spot novelties in urban and regional planning to improve research and implementation.
